Welcome to Blue Rhino's website. We are a small network of professionals specialising in data management solutions, database driven website design, complimented by strong visual communication design skills.
We have very strong principles in ensuring that projects are completed to time and to the specifications agreed with the client. We closely allude to the Pareto principle (80/20 thinking). Because we are full-time professionals, we only take on projects that expand our horizons, and that are easily achievable within our skill-set, and are realistically achievable time wise.
Who has the skills to know the best IT solution or who to ask for advice? Internal advice can be conflicting, and not necessarily with the omniscience of an external consultancy. Even IT consultants will have a core set of skills and will favour particular solutions over others. We are no different in this respect, but we will not railroad clients down a particular path if there is a better solution for them. We will happily give advice to clients at a small fee to give the client the best chance of getting the solution they need.
Challenging the conventions: We, like many, have become frustrated by the traditional ways that some businesses operate in the UK. It is our heartfelt belief that there are better ways of managing successful software design process implementation. We want to see Information Technology recognised as being the workhorse and driver of business, rather than the fall-guy when things go wrong. Throughout our site, you will find many detailed examples of how we want to challenge traditional views on how IT projects should be run. We are neither backwards in coming forwards when recommending solutions to clients and identifying project risks.
We are always in the process, of developing products and services that we know will add value to a particular group of people or enhance competitiveness in the business world. As new products come on-stream they will be made available on this site.
We adopt practicality at every level when working with clients. A solution should be the appropriate solution, and we will always balance cost with functionality. We will separate the wish list from the required list. We will suggest alternative solutions or alternative companies that offer a more suitable service than ourselves because it is mutually beneficial to only work together when we are operating within our area of expertise.
